How Will You Transform in 2017?

2017 has arrived and with it I have come to the realization that I have to up my game in a big way this year to get myself in a position where I can better hit the ground running in 2018. Things will be shifting with how I take care of Anthony as he will have turned 18. For those who have followed me for awhile and for those who are just coming to my blog I am single mom to a special needs son. He was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at birth. We have a few services that how we receive them will change once he turns 18 and the person that this will impact the most is me.

There will be a lot of changes with my blog. The services I offer will get re-examined as far as what I will offer and their pricing. There will also be a change in my branding. In short my whole business is going to undergo a total overhaul.

I had two revelations at the end of 2016 that shifted my mindset in a way that cleared some of the crap that had been blocking me in 2016. Well okay not just in 2016 but you get the idea. I have been participating in this program called Celebrate YOU and one of the first activities was on forgiveness. This was my first big revelation. I realized that I didn’t need to buy into the same rote thinking on forgiveness isn’t for them it’s for you. I decided that I would continue with my own relationship/journey with forgiveness in a way that feels authentic to me. Again for those who have been with me for some time know I was molested by my grandfather for 5 years and it has been the one thing that I have had the hardest time forgiving. If you’re new here thank you for listening to that part of what has happened to me in my past. So my relationship with forgiveness in how it relates to my business is this. I am not going to beat myself up anymore for not forgiving the man who molested me nor am I going to let others make me feel guilty for not forgiving him.

The other revelations I had was in my participation in the New Years Intentions Challenge. One, 2016 was a very challenging year and I rolled with the challenges the best that I could. Two, I refuse to let anyone ever diminish my self worth again.
